Self-efficacy, an individual’s confidence in their ability to stop using nicotine and tobacco products, plays a critical role in successful tobacco treatment. This on-demand webinar will highlight the importance of assessing self-efficacy, tailoring treatment approaches based on readiness to quit, and implementing personalized strategies to build confidence and motivation. Special emphasis will be placed on addressing self-efficacy for those who may experience unique barriers that undermine self-efficacy. Participants will review evidence-based approaches that healthcare professionals can use to enhance self-efficacy at individual and community levels.
